The Atlas Moth aren’t just a band, they’re storytellers, and their latest release, The Old Believer, isn’t just an album, it’s a journey. “City of Light,” the seventh of that record’s ten tracks, represents but a sliver of that journey… but what a sliver it is! Hallucinatory, mystical, somber, expansive and evocative, “City of Light” provides more textures in five minutes than most entire albums being churned out by the characterless hordes.
