I am Legit Stoked for the Babymetal World Tour

You guys, I finally did it: I booked a trip to Japan! I’m so stoked. Weird candy, amazing sushi, funny toys, shrines, bullet trains, massive cities, sprawling countryside, a Japanese baseball game! I can’t wait. MetalGF and I are going in June and we’d love to hang out with any MetalSucks readers in Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka. Holler at your boy via email.

And, of course, Babymetal, whom we’ve blogged about many a time before. Only the Japanese could produce something so completely ridiculous and over the top yet so intensely serious. And holy crap, this trailer for their forthcoming world tour — filmed at the world-famous Budokan in Tokyo on March 1st and 2nd of this year — looks incredible. That production! They’re taking their show on the road to France, Germany and the UK in July, and I’m legit jealous of anyone who gets to see it. Can we get some U.S. dates please? Euro dates below:
