Stream the Breathtaking New Barrows Album in Full
You guys reeeeally seemed to like that Barrows track we premiered last week. Funny that the least metal track we debut in a long while is the one that united MetalSucks readers the most, ya know?
A quick refresher in case you missed it: Red Giant, the sophomore album by L.A. instrumental rock band Barrows, is a concept album about the life of a star and what happens after it dies, depicted throughout the album’s five epic tracks. The music is gorgeously cinematic, the kind for which you oughtta just fire up a doob, sit back, relax, and let the music control the images that flow through your brain. Good vibes all around, great musicianship, and an all-star cast, too: the album was produced by Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Tool) and Dale Crover (Melvins) and mastered by Chris Common (Palms, Pelican).
Red Giant came out on Tuesday and can be streamed in full below (and ordered here). This one’s a real doozy. Enjoy!
