The Atlas Moth Will Make an Old Believer Out of You
According to the dude who makes these delicious fig cookies, “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” And so while 2014 will be plagued by the release of a new album from frittatacore lightweights Emmure, it will also be blessed by the release of a new album from perennial MetalSucks favorites, the anti-Emmure, The Atlas Moth!
The band’s new album/reason to not give up all hope on humanity is called The Old Believer, and it’s coming out June 10 on Profound Lore. To the best of our knowledge, it does not contain any songs about bringing guns to school or giving head. The cover art is below… well, half of it, anyway. According to the band’s Facebook page, “The 2nd half of the cover is revealed once you add water to it btw.” Which, as far as cover-art-gimmicks go, is pretty friggin’ cool. I honestly can’t remember any band ever doing such a thing before.
June 10 cannot come fast enough!
