Emmure’s “N.I.A.” is Their Most Technically Complex Track Yet
Queens technical death metal titans Emmure have debuted a new track, “N.I.A. (Nightstick in Anus)” via AP. The impressively polyrhythmic tune features as many as three notes, making it Emmure’s most technically impressive song to date. In fact, sources tell MetalSucks that it took the band upwards of five minutes to write, and then had to be recorded at half-speed, Rings of Saturn-style. Although some elitists might consider that to be “cheating,” in the case of a song this thoroughly complex, an exception must be made.
“N.I.A.” will appear on Emmure’s new album, Eternal Enemies, which comes out April 51st on Peaceful Compromise Records.
