The Ocean’s New Drummer Can Definitely Play

The Ocean recently got two new band members, and, as is de rigueur these days, they’ve just put out a video of one of said members playing through one of the band’s more musically complex songs from start to finish.

The below video of new drummer Paul Seidel (also of War From a Harlots mouth) playing “Disequillibrated” should help concerned Ocean fans rest easy: clearly this guy is more than capable of handling Luc Hess’s drum parts, and the band is going to sound absolutely stellar on their upcoming co-headline tour with Scale the Summit. Not that we’d expect band mastermind Robin Staps to hire a slouch, but, ya know, it’s just good to see first hand that all will be well.

Those wishing to see new guitarist Damian Murdoch play through a track can also breathe a sigh of relief: it’s already been done, and he sounds great too! Check it out here.
