Exclusive Premiere: Exmortus, “Slave To The Sword”
It’s that mix of thrash, death metal and SHRED that make Exmortus so absolutely irresistible! We’re so sure you’ll feel the same way that we’ve decided to premiere to the world the title track from their forthcoming album Slave To The Sword. If you liked “Immortality Made Flesh” — also on the album and part of an exclusive 7″ with a Judas Priest cover on the B-side — you’ll most definitely like this one too. 2014 is the year that Exmortus are going to make their imprint upon the metal scene at large; they’re just too damned good not to, and with Prosthetic Records backing them this time around they’ll have the support they deserve.
Here’s a quote from drummer Mario Moreno:
2013 has been a pretty exciting year for EXMORTUS. We recorded a killer album with engineer/ producer Zack Ohren, got amazing album art done by Phil Lawvere, signed a record deal with Prosthetic Records and now we’re finally announcing a release date for our upcoming album “Slave to the Sword”. Pretty damn exciting right!? The year isnt over and we’re already stoked on 2014. Our relationship with Prosthetic is still fresh but things are already off to a great start. Be sure to pick up a copy of Slave to the Sword in February online, in stores or on our upcoming North American Tour with Dark Tranquility and Omnium Gatherum starting February 1st in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade. See you all soon! \m/
