Reindeer Blood: Slayer-Inspired Christmas Card > Actual Slayer Christmas Sweater

To Slayer’s credit, they were one of the first bands to make a Christmas sweater, and I they definitely had one of the better designs for this suddenly-trendy item of merch.

Still, artist Dominic Sohor‘s new Christmas cards, which (in case you somehow don’t immediately recognize it) were inspired by the legendary album art for Slayer’s Reign in Blood, are a far wittier idea than those Christmas sweaters — or any other band’s Christmas sweaters, for that matter:

Awesome, right? I think the inverted Christmas tree is an especially nice detail.

The cards are priced at about three bucks each, which I think is totally reasonable! (Remember that in 2010, they were selling Dio Christmas cards for ten dollars each, so this right here is a relative metsieh.) Order ’em here.
