Drewsif Stalin’s Metal Cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” Might Win Ryan Seacrest’s Competition
You remember Drewsif Stalin, right? He’s that kid that’s in a few notable Internet bands and does lots of djenty covers of pop songs, like this one of Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and this one of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.” He also makes some of the best metal faces known to man, making his playthrough videos even more entertaining than they already are.
And so: Stalin has covered Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” (with the help of a female companion on vocals), complete with supremely excellent metal faces, and he’s entered it into a Miley Cyrus covers competition on RyanSeacrest.com… and he’s actually got a shot of winning this thing! When I first opened MS reader Hugh’s email about the competition last night Stalin was in the lead with over 15% of the votes, but he’s since dropped into second place by a mere 0.2%. This shall not stand.
WE CAN DO THIS, PEOPLE! VOTE STALIN NOW!
Watch and listen to Drewsif’s Miley cover below. Even if you hate Miley Cyrus, even if you hate djent, even if you hate MetalSucks… DO IT IN THE NAME OF METAL! Do it because it’d be the ultimate troll to see a metal cover win a Miley Cyrus contest… on RYAN FUCKING SEACREST dot com!
Vote here if it’s the only thing you do all day. And because de Blasio’s got the NYC mayoral race in the bag.
