Danny Walker from Intronaut and Uphill Battle Will Play Drums on the New Job for a Cowboy Album
So, uh, hey, remember how last week drummer Jon “The Charn” Rice announced he was leaving Job for a Cowboy, and I said, uh, well, this?
“I don’t think it will be an uphill battle for them to find another great drummer.”
Well, yeah, I was being a dick and dropping hints. But now that it’s been officially announced, I can just come right out and type the words: DANNY WALKER IS PLAYING DRUMS ON THE NEW JFAC ALBUM!!!
If that doesn’t make you excited, something is wrong with you. After all, MetalSucks named Walker the third best drummer in modern metal not too long ago. In addition to playing with Intronaut and Uphill Battle, Walker has played with Exhumed, Jesu, Phobia, and Murder Construct. Dude knows his shit. Even if he’s just playing on the album and not replacing Charn, well… that’s great news!
JFAC’s new album will be out next year on Metal Blade. Presumably a new full-time drummer will be named by the time it’s released.
