The Devil Wears Prada Ruin Their Own “First Sight” Video with Their Horrible Song, “First Sight”

Regular readers know I am NOT a fan of The Devil Wears Prada. So hopefully you understand that I’m being deadly cereal when I say that their new video, for the song “First Sight,” is AWESOME. The cinematography, the cutting, the animation, the overall vibe… really, the only thing I don’t like about it is the music. Way to ruin your own video, The Devil Wears Prada.

The credit for this clip, which is so incredibly cool despite the involvement of TDWP, lies with director Maria Juranic. If you check out any of the other videos, commercials, and/or shorts available on her website, you will instantly recognize how tremendously talented she is. I sincerely hope that more mediocre bands hire her to make videos in the future so that a) those videos will be more tolerable and b) she has the money to go make something really awesome that has nothing to do with the mediocre bands that paid her.
