Exclusive Premiere: Rosetta, “Hara / The Center”
Tomorrow marks the digital release of The Anaesthete, Rosetta’s first full-length in three years.
Fans of Rosetta know what to expect, but since the band’s been away for a while please allow us to offer a refresher. Imagine if Cult of Luna — in all their expansive, epic compositional glory — invited Cave In’s Stephen Brodsky to sit in on guitar. Shimmering delay and reverb-soaked guitars build momentum through dreamy, atmospheric passages, but an underlying sense of post-hardcore sensibility keeps the band from venturing too far off the prog deep end.
Here’s a track from The Anaesthete called “Hara / The Center.” The album will be available tomorrow through Rosetta’s Official Website for whatever price you choose to pay, and on physical formats later this year. Catch Rosetta on tour in August; dates below.
