You May Be “Disappointed” by the New Nine Inch Nails Song

Nine Inch Nails debuted a new song called “Disappointed” live in Ansan, South Korea over the weekend, and… I’m about as indifferent towards it as I can ever remember being towards a NIN song. Maybe the studio recording — set to appear on NIN’s new album, Hesitation Marks — will sell me, but it feels like it never really goes anywhere.

That being said, I tend to prefer NIN with a lotta guitars, and there are at least three people playing synths on stage during this song. So maybe I’m just not the audience for it.
