Dave Lombardo Expresses His Feelings Regarding Slayer Split Via Re-Tweets

Although some people seemed to genuinely believe that Kerry King and Tom Araya would work out the beef with Dave Lombardo and bring the drummer back to Slayer — especially after the death of Jeff Hanneman — those people were living in a fantasy world. Hate to say I toldja so, but I said just as much ten days ago. The dispute between the two parties had gotten too public, and there wasn’t just money at stake, but now egos as well.
So what does Lombardo make of the news that he’s been replaced by Paul Bostaph? He took to Twitter last night to let the world know, in a less-than-subtle manner. First, he tweeted the below message…

So while Lombardo hasn’t made an official statement that directly addresses the resolution of the Slayer drama, it seems pretty clear how he feels about it. And I can’t say I blame him.
