Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Call of the Void, “Bottom Feeder”
Back in February we rejoiced when grind n’ roll MetalSucks Unsigned and Unholy alumni Call of the Void inked a deal with the underground visionaries at Relapse Records. We love it when our favorite unsigned bands get all growed up and stuff (and we also like gloating, and being the old men who say I KNEW YOU WHEN) so we’re super proud of them. Thanksfully Dragged Down a Dead End Path, Call of the Void’s new full-length album, was no disappointment — stream it in full here — and the band has been positively crushing it on tour ever since.
Today we’re extremely proud to premiere the video-cum-lyric video for the new album’s third track, “Bottom Feeder.” It’s among the heaviest and fastest Dragged Down a Dead End Path has to offer, and we’re sure MetalSucks readers who eat up all things grind are going to absolutely love it. The video’s frenetic editing and chromacolour palette represent a fine approximation of what it’s like to get face-fucked by Call of the Void live. The clip was directed and edited by Frank Huang, a bro of ours who does a lot of work for Metal Injection. Watch:
