Iron Tongue’s “Lioness” Will Rwake You Up

Truth be told, my headline is a little misleading. Although Iron Tongue does feature Rwake’s Chris “CT” Terry, all the two bands really have in common are that they sound awesomely filthy. Iron Tongue is far more melodious and classic rock influenced, but hopefully you won’t see that as a negative. “Lioness,” the first single from the group’s forthcoming The Dogs Have Barked, The Birds Have Flown, is goddamn great — I’m on my second consecutive listen as I type this, which is high praise given the jam’s eight-minute-plus run time.
