HALLELUJAH!!! Attack Attack! Break Up!

Guys, rarely do I get to report news that makes me so happy I weep — but I swear on Dime’s grave, there are tears of joy running down my cheeks even as I type this.

Attack Attack!, surely one of the shittiest metal bands of the past decade, are calling it a day.

From the band’s official Facebook page:

I’m a little bummed that this statement is relatively well-written, although I do wonder if they meant that this was going be their “most ironic tour ever” or “most iconic tour ever.” Neither one really makes sense to me, but “iconic” seems like the better fit over all.

ANYWAY, this is obviously swell news. I hope more bands that have committed such heinous crimes against human ears follow suit!!!
