Attila Vocalist Says Stupid Thing, Apologizes for Saying Stupid Thing
Yesterday, Attila vocalist Rikki Rockett, Jr. sent out the following tweets:
If our new album doesn’t blow the fuck up, then I’ve officially lost faith in music and I quit ha. Real talk though. Go huge or I’m done. ✌

I just put too much time and effort into what I do for it to fail. I sacrifice seeing my family to make music for YOU. Think about that :)

There’s obviously no shortage of snarky comments I could make about these idiotic tweets. But luckily for me, The PRP reported on these statements and their commenters did all the snarking for me:
To Rockett, Jr.’s credit, after seeing the The PRP story this morning, he apologized for his idiocy:
Sorry if anyone took my tweets last night the wrong way, lol. I’m just really confident in our new album. It’s too fucking good.

And I was in a bad mood yesterday anyways, everything and everyone pissed me off. It was just one of “those” days. Thanks for the press PRP.

I’m a person just like you. We are all the same. I go through the same problems :)

Well, we’re not really all the same — for example, I don’t make horrible music and then bitch that said horrible music isn’t making me enough money. Still, he makes a valid point — we are all human and we are all entitled to occasionally say stupid shit when we’re feeling grumpy. I myself have a Ph.D. in such actions.
And besides, assuming he keeps his promise, there should be no more Attila within the year. ‘Cause the only way this album is gonna “blow the fuck up” is if a suicide bomber takes out a suburban shopping mall.
