Topiary Deer-Camel-Tree Creature Scales the Summit of The Migration
The first thing you might notice about the Duncan Storr-created album art for Scale the Summit’s latest, The Migration, is the way the topiary creature’s size is emphasized by creating a frame-within-a-frame, and then having that creature extend beyond the frame. Which isn’t a new trick, but it’s not exactly one you see used on the cover of metal albums all that much, so I think it’s worth noting.
The second thing you might notice is a craving for broccoli.
The Migration comes out June 11 on Prosthetic.
