And the New Guitar Player for Textures Is…

After Textures posted a mini-documentary chronicling their search for a new guitar player on Monday, I predicted that the band would announce their latest addition to the posse within a week; well, I was right, and it took way less than a week for the announcement to be made. Joe Tal will replace founding member Jochem Jacobs, who left the band earlier this year.

The announcement comes via the below video, which entertainingly adopts the tone of a sci-fi B-movie. (I swear I had no idea where it was going when I made the stupid Indiana Jones joke, it’s just a happy coincidence.) Anyway, between Monday’s audition footage and the jamming in the clip below, I have no doubt that Textures have made the right decision; this dude can clearly play his ass of. Watch:
