Time Flies When You’re Doing It with Coliseum

Coliseum have released another new song from their upcoming album, Sister Faith. It’s called “Doing Time,” and it might be even bouncier and punkier than “Black Magic Punks,” the other song from the album that’s been made public… which is really saying something, because that song was plenty bouncy and punky, and even had, y’know, the word “punk” right there in the title.

In fact, I’m starting think (and maybe even hope) that Sister Faith is going to be the album Kvelertak’s Meir should have been: sure, it’s energetic and malicious, but it’s also anthemic and catchy. Not many bands could make a bunch of dudes shouting “HEY!” the way they might in a polka song feel so fuckin’ metal, but that’s just one of the many talents Coliseum demonstrate during the course of this tune.
