Exclusive Premiere: Sannhet, “Slow Ruin”
Sannhet are the second band we’ve featured this month from Sacrament Music, the startup Brooklyn record label founded by three of the owners of the metal venue and bar Saint Vitus (the first being last week’s premiere of a new jam from White Widows, which all of you seemed to like except some stangry commenter calling himself “Buck Chilly.”) It’s easy to hear the appeal of Sannhet from “Slow Ruin,” premiering exclusively on MetalSucks below; the blackened, atmospheric, post-rock of this mostly instrumental trio draws you in, sucks you away and spits you back out on an opposing shore like an invisible but potent riptide lurking just underneath the surface. Sit back, relax and get lost in the waves:
Known Flood comes out on February 26th and can be pre-ordered here. Check another new song called “Moral” on Pitchfork.
