That’s right, you can watch the nine-minute short film online for free before its cinematic world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Black Metal will be available to screen from today, January 17th, until January 27th.
The short features Texan dark metallers Vesperian Sorrow as the Black Metal band, Crown Of Horns. In addition, there is music from Denmark’s black metal unit Horned Almighty and Arkansas doomsters Pallbearer. MetalSucks’ own Corey Mitchell worked on Black Metal as a heavy metal consultant, a true crime consultant, and as the music supervisor.
This is Kat’s way of saying thank you to all of you MetalSucks readers who have shown your belief in the film either through positive comments here or by your financial support, as many of you pitched in finances via the IndieGoGo crowd sourcing site.
Black Metal is for you, by you, and because of you. We hope you will enjoy it.
