PSYOPUS COMING HOME FROM THE FARM?
Readers will often e-mail us and ask if we have/can get any updates on whatever band, and one of the bands we’re asked about most frequently is Psyopus. Last we heard, the band was living a blissful existence on a farm, but it looks like they have a hankerin’ to come back to the big city — last night, guitarist Christopher Arp posted the following message on his Facebook page:
It isn’t presently clear which other members of the band’s original line-up are participating, but I also don’t think it will really matter to fans; like a lot of other metal bands (Megadeth, Arsis, The Faceless, White Wizzard, etc.), Psyopus had a pretty constant revolving door of band members (no two Psyopus albums feature the same line-up, and besides Arp, only one member, bassist Fred DeCoste, appears on multiple releases from the group), and thus ostensibly boiled down to being one dude (Arp, duh) and whomever the hell he wanted at any given moment. I think he could probably tour with Josie and the Pussycats and his admirers would be satisfied. But if you are especially sweet on the version of the band that made 2004’s Ideas of Reference, well… bonus!
More details as we get ’em.

P.S. I don’t really understand what the fuck this is, but I think it’s hilarious.
