HOLY GRAIL RIDE THE VOID WITH NEW SONG “DARK PASSENGER”

Holy Grail’s 2010 album Crisis in Utopia was one of the year’s best, although it was received rather cooly upon release. Two years of relentless touring later (including stints with Valient Thorr, Royal Thunder, Dragonforce, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian and Exodus, just to name a few), the band’s follow-up Ride The Void — due in early 2013 via Prosthetic Records — is finally garnering the hype this band deserves. Full Metal Jackie premiered a new song called “Dark Passenger” over the weekend, and now it’s made its way online through a lyric video hosted by Revolver.

“Dark Passenger” has all the Holy Grail touchstones: galloping, NWOBHM-inspired riffs, soaring, rooftop vocals, a singalong chorus and a plenty of deliciously tasty, shred-tastic guitar work. Listen and watch:
