MORE RIPPING DEATH METAL: KAMIKABE

Yesterday’s post about Rivers of Nihil inspired MS reader Fuzzy Dunlop to email us about Kamikabe, a like-minded death metal band that’s done plenty of time with Rivers of Nihil on the road.

Kamikabe have a new album called Aberration of Man coming out today on Unique Leader Records, although I’ve seen very little promotion for it (the band isn’t even listed anywhere on the label’s website other than the store). But don’t let the fact that this band has flown under the radar deter you; Kamikabe play some of the rippingest, most ferocious death metal I’ve heard in some time. I’d guess that these guys would cite Spawn of Possession and Nalpalm Death as big influences, a dandy combination for fans of FAST death metal.
