CHTHONIC OFFERING FREE ALBUM WITH PURCHASE OF DORIS YEH SOFT PORN PHOTO BOOK

Usually, bands figure out some special goodies to give away with presales of their new album; but Chthonic are doing it the other way around. On October 3, the group will release a 96-page book of photos of their most photogenic member, bassist Doris Yeh, entitled Doris: Set Fire to the Island, which I’m pretty sure is also the name of a movie I masturbated to on Skinamax when I was twelve.

Pre-orders for the book come with a CD of a symphony composed by the band, “for those music lovers.” THAT IS AN ACTUAL QUOTE FROM AN ACTUAL OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT. As though the music was entirely incidental.

Oh well. I guess at least they’re being honest.
