NEW ARSIS ALBUM WILL BE CALLED UNWELCOME; ALBUM ART PREVIEW AVAILABLE

Riddickart’s Mark Riddick — who our own Rodney Githens once called “the Norman Rockwell of zombie art” — has posted the “digipak CD layout and artwork in progress” for the new Arsis album on his Facebook page. You can check it out below (click to enlarge).

In addition to being extremely awesome, it also reveals the title of the new Arsis release: Unwelcome. Which, I think, is a GREAT fucking title. It’s almost more punk than metal, but it’s simple, and it tells you exactly what the mood of the music is going to be. Seriously, high fives for whomever thought up that title (I’m assuming it was James Malone but on the off chance it was someone else y’know high fives for that dude or dudette too).
