NEW MUSE SONG IS TYPICALLY FANTASTIC

Muse aren’t metal, but metalheads really seem to dig Muse. Matter of fact, pretty much everyone seems to dig Muse. What’s not to like? The band puts together smarty-crafted, heavy-tinged pop that’s brimming with energy and excitement, and they bring a magnificently bombastic stage show loaded with true rockstar theatrics.

Yesterday Muse debuted their new single “Survival” via BBC Radio 1 in England; stream the radio rip below [via The PRP]. The song was recently selected as the official song for the coming 2012 Olympic Games in London. The 2nd Law is due out September 17th.

And holy shit, has it really been three years since Muse’s last album The Resistance came out? And what the fuck is wrong with me for not going to see them live a single time on that album’s touring cycle?
