Something about Immortal and birthday cakes just seems to go well together; we’ve recently received not one, not two, but THREE submissions from readers with Immortal-inspired birthday cake designs. But no longer is frosting artistry the sole realm of our frosty Blashyrkh brothers! Reader Chad Larsen sent us the above photo of a birthday cake some of his friends made him for his 30th birthday, inspired by Iron Maiden’s Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album cover, of course. The detail is fantastic; the lettering, the skull, the ribcage, the subtle change from light blue to dark blue in the background!
