THE MUNICIPAL WASTE/TOXIC HOLOCAUST SPLIT SHOULD BE NEITHER TOXIC NOR A WASTE

 Here’s an idea that makes so much sense you have to wonder why it took so long to come to fruition: Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust, two of the modern era’s premiere thrash bands, are teaming up for a split 7″, appropriately titled Toxic Waste. The absolutely gorgeous/horrifying album art you see above is by Andrei Bouzikov, who, in addition to previous work for The Waste, has also done art for Skeletonwitch and Cannabis Corpse, amongst others.

The split will feature four songs, two by each band, all of which are, at least as far as I’m aware, original and new — so you’re gonna wanna get your hands on this bad boy. It comes out June 12 on Tankcrimes; hopefully some music will debut online soon.
