DETHKLOK: DETHALBUM III “COMING THIS YEAR”

I dig Brendon Small’s new, non Dethklok album, Galaktikon — although I understand that some people do not. That’s cool. If all you really want from Small is more Dethklok, you’re in luck: the new season of Metalocalypse premieres this Sunday, and now, in a new interview with Technorati, Small reveals that Dethalbum III should see the light of day sometime in 2012, too:

There’s a lot of stuff coming this year–I think we’re getting close to Dethalbum III, and I think there’s going to be some cool stuff following that, so I think this is going to be a bigger Dethklok year.

Technorati – TW: You’re planning on doing Dethalbum III?

That’s what the hope is. Again, it takes a long time to organize this stuff, but we’ve got a lot of songs from Season 3 and from all the music I’m writing for Season 4, there’s a lot of new stuff out there and some of it’s really pretty cool.

So obviously not a ton of new info there, but, again, it’s enough for all us Dethklok fans to start getting excited.
