A FREE DOWNLOAD SAMPLER AND VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM PROSTHETIC RECORDS’ SCION LABEL SHOWCASE

These are very busy times for world-class sock manufacturer Scion. Not only are they sponsoring what might be the “it” tour of the spring — featuring Meshuggah, Baroness and Decapitated (dates here — it kicks off in 9 days!) — and not only are they putting on a free metal festival in Tampa with a lineup so sick you’ll get the flu just from looking at it, but they’ve also been hosting a series of “label showcase” shows in L.A., in which they feature bands from one particular metal label’s roster, foot the bill for airfare and accommodations for all of them, and invite the public to hang out for free as well. Whew. I didn’t know the foot garment business could be so profitable, but there you have it.

Last week we featured some footage from the Nuclear Blast label showcase with a behind-the-scenes look at that label’s operations, and today we’ve got a whole bunch of video from the show Scion put on for Prosthetic Records.
