MORE ADDITIONS TO METALLICA’S ORION MUSIC + MORE FEST: GHOST, THAT METAL SHOW HOSTS ADDED
I gotta admit, whomever is curating Metallica’s upcoming Orion Music + More Festival is doing a heckuva job: now letlive. have been added to that stage, which doesn’t really mean anything to me, but so have Ghost, who are so friggin’ awesome live that I’m sure even the depressing surroundings of Atlantic City won’t be able to trip them up. (And apparently James Hetfield is a fan. Take that as you will.) Additionally, metal-friendly comedians and co-hosts of That Metal Show, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, which is just swell, too.
They join the already rockin’ line-up on the extreme-music-friendly “Damage Inc. Stage” (Suicidal Tendencies, Sepultura, Red Fang, Torche, Landmine Marathon, Charred Walls of the Damned, Black Tusk, Kyng, and Thy Will Be Done), as well as Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold, Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, Cage The Elephant, Fucked Up, Best Coast, Hot Snakes, Titus Andronicus, Gary Clark Jr., Lucero, Roky Erickson, The Black Angels, The Sword, A Place To Bury Strangers, Liturgy, and, of course, Metallica. That is a show I would totally go see! If it weren’t in AC, I mean. Really, fuck that place.
