LET’S GET THE FACE OF EURONYMOUS PAINTED ON THE NORWEGIAN AIRLINES FLEET

This is actually a really real thing: to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their company, Norwegian Air is asking customers to vote on which famous Norwegian historical figure should be painted on the tail of their airplanes. And Øystein Aarseth, aka slain Mayhem guitarist Euronymous, is winning! We got a lot of emails over the weekend about the poll; first Euronymous was at 26, then 6, then 2… and now he’s actually at #1.

Will Norwegian Air stick to their word and adorn their aircraft with Euronymous face despite the potential controversy such a move could generate? I guess we’re gonna find out. Voting closes tomorrow, so go vote now to make sure Euronymous’ dome stays up top (I obvs. can’t read Norwegian but I think you just have to click the heart next to his name) and adorns the grimmest flights imaginable.
