MEMBERS OF PERIPHERY COVER SLIPKNOT’S “HERETIC ANTHEM”

Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo has enlisted the help of his badmates Misha Mansoor and Matt Halpern, as well as Taylor Larson (who is co-producing the new Periphery album) and Will Donnelly, to record the below cover of Slipknot’s “Heretic Anthem.” There doesn’t seem to be any occassion for this — I guess Sotelo just thought it would be fun.

The interesting thing is, Mansoor doesn’t contribute any guitars to the track, leaving that task to Larson while sharing drum duties with Halpern. So, uh, yeah. If you’re a fan of Periphery and/or Slipknot, consider this an interesting curiosity. If you’re not, well, just go about your day I guess.
