THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HOWARD JONES/KSE SCANDAL REVEALED!
Howard Jones missed the last KSE tour because…
HE WAS KIDNAPPED BY ALIENS WHILE ON A FISHING TRIP!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In all seriousness, though, I love this video, and here’s why:
- The animation is cool.
- The fact that the animation is kinda imperfect makes it that much cooler.
- Justin Foley (not that one), or “J.Fo” as he’s called here, says that Green Jello were a big inspiration for the clip.
- It addresses Howard’s absence, but in an entertaining and funny way.
And that last one is key. I don’t know if Howard Jones has to publicly set the record straight about all the rumors or not. On the one hand, not to would be a little weird, just in that, y’know, it happened, and we all know that it happened, and it would be such a major elephant in the room, but on the other hand, it’s really none of our business.
But to acknowledge that tension and deflate it… well, it’s a pretty brilliant move, if you ask me. I don’t even like this song all that much, but I’ll always remember this video.
